There are many wonderous local attractions amongst them is the renowned and internationally recognized geological feature ‘the cataract gorge’ as well as restaurants, museums and galleries all within walking distance of the recommended accommodation. The state of Tasmania has a mostly temperate climate with Launceston’s average early summer temperatures in the mid 20’s.
